ترکیب فنون و روش‌های مطالعه:
مهم‌ترین مهارت‌هایی که می‌توانند در بسط یادگری مؤثر باشند عبارتند از:گوش دادن، تصمیم‌گیری منطقی، تفکر آفریننده، نوشتن و صحبت کردن، مثلاً فنون خلاصه‌برداری و سازمان دادن مطالب را مستقیماً می‌توان در مهارت‌های گوش دادن، نوشتن و صحبت کردن به کار برد.
خواندن تجسسی و انتقادی را می‌توان در تصمیم‌گیری‌های منطقی مورد استفاده قرار داد و باید سعی کرد در بسط دادن و تجربه کردن روش‌ها، فنون و اصول را به کار برد.
